History and Geneology of the Turrey's

Whats the scoop on the Turrey name, I've been poking around for ever. Most of us West of the Mississippi are some flavor of Hispano, with just about everything thrown in Mexican, Native, French, Anglo. To the East of Miss. the Turrey's are the non-Iberian types like Anglo, Germanic or French (THiery). If you have info pass it on. When people ask me "What are you", I'm a CHICANO. People here in Arizona freak out when I say that because for some reason in Arizona it seams to be a derrogatory lable.   Last names of great grandparents :

[MAESE-ORTEGA],[GONZALES-GONZALES],[TURREY,MARRUJO],[RODRIGUEZ, DE LA O]
