The Guitar:
I must have been 11 years old or so when I got my first guitar, I basically kept it as a room decoration, until High School. So I figured why not learn it, I had a book that had the basics and a chord chart. After a couple of weeks of trying to build calluses on my fingers, my house burned down. So from that point till my early 30's I didn't study. I was inspired though, my Grandfather Estevan played, his father Domingo played, my buddy Eli, Ernie, Cheo, David O., Tio Julian (RIP), Tio Joe V (RIP), Little
Lawrence, Manuel G (RIP), Joe A. (Drummer)...So I think in 1994 my Grandfather died and we acquired one of his guitars, so hear I go gain, studying the Guitar. I'm even finding more guitarists in my circles, cousin Dan V., cousin Joseph V. bosses boss Dan, cousin-in-law Gino M. So I own the old Korean Encore from Grandpa Estevan, a Gibson SG that Ernie G gave me, an Ovation that I bought from Adam and a Fender Squier. My next one I hope to be is anything from Pimentel Guitars in Alburquerque, NM
